He teaches Zumba® and Zumba® Kids/Kids Jr. at Life Time Fitness and Life Time Athletic in Raleigh NC. Markiss is a fulltime music educator in Cary, NC at Cardinal Charter Academy and also teaches a Zumba® Kids class at his school as an after-school club.
Markiss is in his fifth year of being an instructor and loves to educate his students about the international rhythms and cultures of Zumba®. He is also apart of the Raleigh area Men of Zumba® which is a cohort made up of Raleigh area Male Zumba instructors.
Markiss loves to dance and has a passion for the music, which is seen in his original choreo and unique flava he brings to all his classes. He strives to inspire others through his passion of dance fitness and looks forward to setting the floor on fiyah with you guys soon!
