Yvonne Ibarra
Born and raised in Los Ángeles, California, Yvonne has been surrounded by Latin music throughout her life. The International Language brings so many people and cultures together in movement.
In 2012, she fell in love with Zumba at her local gym and instantly knew she wanted to one day lead a class. Later that same year she became licensed to teach Zumba. Today Yvonne is licensed in Zumba Step, Zumba Kid’s, Aqua Zumba and
under the Zumba umbrella she is also a Strong Nation instructor.
Throughout her 11 years she has participated in several fundraiser events for friends, Zumbathon Charity events, Fitness in the District, and at Zumba Trade Shows. She has organized Aqua Zumba Masterclasses and hosted Zumba Jammers in Arizona. Yvonne is also one of Arizona’s ZCOM rep and helps keep all instructors informed of communication from home office.
Yvonne is a wife, mother of 4 amazing children, one of who became an angel at the age of 17. In her darkest days, music and the community came together to bring her light. She knew she would need time before returning to a new norm, but she was certain it would happen one day to say Thank You to her community.
