Tamika Koehler is an AFAA, NASM, ACE certified fitness instructor in Bellevue, Nebraska. She teaches multiple fitness formats including Dance, Pound, Chair One Fitness and Xtreme Hip Hop Step.
Tamika is a stylist and has owned her salon, T & R Hair Gallery, for over 28 years. Tamika is also a Certified Medication Aide and provides care and assistance to seniors in an assisted living community.
Tamika first became a dance fitness instructor in 2015 and has continued with passion during her own journey to health and wellness. As an instructor, Tamika takes the time to get to know each and every one on a personal level to provide support throughout the fitness journey.
Tamika enjoys greeting her students with hugs and high fives. Her motto, “Hey Girl Hey”, can be heard throughout every class as she motivates participants with lots of encouragement. The atmosphere of Tamika’s class is most often a party vibe including LED lights, positive affirmations, big smiles and lots of laughter when possible. Another affirming motto, “you showed up for YOU for just 4% of your day’ is shared with participants at every class. You’re guaranteed to have lots of fun and a great time in her class so Let’s Go!
