Sekoya Waddy is a Virginia native—an engineer by day and fitness instructor by night. She became a MixxedFit instructor in 2015 and a national trainer for the brand in 2018. She also teaches and serves as a Brand Integrity Advisor (BIA) for Xtreme Hip-Hop, a step aerobics format that takes old-school step to another level. MixxedFit is a people-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning.
Sekoya taught in the Austin area for the past 10 years and recently relocated to Houston to be closer to her “framily” and help with her four goddaughters. She enjoys providing fitness options where the workout doesn’t feel like a workout and believes fitness can be fun with the right music and motivator. When you’re having fun, you forget about the workout—and that’s exactly what she strives to create in her MixxedFit classes.
Sekoya loves everything related to music (singing, dancing, playing, and listening) and is ready to pump you up as you progress and build confidence—while working up a sweaty, sexy glow to your favorite tunes. Be prepared to sweat, dance, and have a great time while getting your heart pumping and burning calories.
