Northern is a licensed Zumba, Commit, TurnUp, and Les Mills instructor with over a decade of experience helping people connect through movement. Based in Grand Rapids, MI, he has taught classes from Peru to Chicago, creating empowering, high-energy spaces where participants can move freely and embrace their authentic selves.
Outside the studio, Northern is a medical research scientist specializing in biochemistry and molecular pathology. His work explores how fitness influences our genes, blending science and health into a holistic approach to well-being. Inspired by cultures and communities around the world, he encourages others to break through limits, grow creatively, and discover their full potential.
