Natasha Simond is a devoted wife, mother, and registered nurse whose life is rooted in service, wellness, and continuous growth. She recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and currently works in the Emergency Department at the University of Chicago. For nearly four years, she has been a committed member of the ED team, gaining extensive experience in trauma, triage, psychiatric care, and even ICU-level situations. Her work in such a fast-paced and demanding environment has strengthened her skills, resilience, and dedication to providing high-quality care.
Natasha’s passion for healthcare has always gone hand in hand with her love for fitness. In 2020, she became a certified Xtreme Hip Hop instructor, discovering a deep connection to step fitness and the energy it brings. Since then, she has been actively teaching and inspiring others through movement, creativity, and community. In 2024, Natasha expanded her role by becoming an Xtreme mentor, helping new instructors build confidence, feel empowered, and adapt to teaching this unique and dynamic fitness program. She is also certified to teach group fitness classes, further solidifying her commitment to promoting overall wellness.
Whether she is caring for patients in the emergency department or motivating students in her step classes, Natasha embodies her personal motto: Health is wealth. Her journey reflects her dedication to uplifting others, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and making a meaningful impact both in healthcare and fitness.
