Jabari was raised in Austin and has taught both Zumba and Hip Hop classes in various cities in Texas.
In addition to being an instructor for 15 years, Jabari has worked extensively with India’s Zumba Education Specialist Sucheta Pal and Texas Zumba Jammer Ingrid Kessler as both a fitness team member and photographer/videographer for both of their Zumba presentations at the annual Zumba Fitness Convention aka ZINCON. In 2020, Jabari was contacted by the Zumba Home Office to participate in a special panel of presenters for the virtual Zumba Fitness Convention.
He is also a professional photographer, award winning radio personality and television reporter, having worked for CBS Radio and CBS Television. He has also participated in many Zumba master classes, helping to raise money for breast cancer research for organizations such as W.I.N.G.S. and Susan G Komen, as well as various other organizations helping out those in need.
