Lauren Bradner, Zumba Instructor

Lauren Bradner

Lauren is based in Vacaville, CA, and has been teaching group fitness for 14 years. Her full-time career is in IT security, so stepping into the studio each week is a total change of pace, but it’s also where she feels most alive. With a background in musical theater and a serious love of music, movement, and people, leading a dance fitness class is the perfect blend of structure and creativity. Think of her class as part workout, part performance (from everyone), and full-on joy.

Lauren was a longtime attendee in group fitness classes. That sense of belonging and connection was transformational for her—so much so that she felt called to help others find the same spark. With a nudge from her own instructor, she began training and teaching group fitness classes, specifically Zumba, in 2011. While many different certifications followed, Zumba remained her first group fitness love. Her choreography is built with flexibility in mind so that both beginners and veterans can find their groove. She loves watching the confidence grow in people as they get more and more comfortable. The community created in these spaces is unparalleled, and she feels lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing people each week.

Currently, Lauren is certified in Zumba and Les Mills’ BodyPump. She previously held certifications in other great formats like U-Jam and PiYo and was even yoga certified at one point—though her regulars will tell you that last one was a bit of a stretch (literally and figuratively).
“Present, not perfect. And maybe willing to sing along with me.”
