Shekera is a passionate group fitness instructor who brings high energy, encouragement, and a strong sense of community to every class she leads. With a love for movement and music, she creates an uplifting environment where participants can challenge themselves while still having fun. Her classes are designed to help people feel empowered, confident, and excited about staying active.

She discovered her love for group fitness early on during her physical training days in the military. That experience sparked her appreciation for the power of working out together—cheering each other on, building discipline, and pushing beyond limits. She enjoys creating a judgment-free space where participants can let their hair down, move freely, and build confidence while discovering their true potential. Fitness also runs in her family, and she enjoys teaching dance fitness classes alongside her mother, as well as leading her own classes.

Certified to teach COMMIT Dance Fitness and Xtreme Hip Hop Step Aerobics, Shekera is also a proud member of the COMMIT Dance Fitness Film Team, where she contributes to the creation of workout content that inspires and motivates participants beyond the classroom. Through these formats, she combines music, rhythm, and athletic challenge to deliver dynamic classes that keep participants energized and coming back for more.
