Rafaela Moreno, Yoga Instructor

Rafaela Moreno

Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Rafaela pursued her passion for wellness by attending culinary school and earning her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition in 2017. During the final stretch of her undergraduate studies, she discovered yoga as a refuge from work-related stress. What began as a single class became a transformative journey that reshaped her personal and professional path. In 2018, she attended a weekend intensive yoga teacher training workshop and fell in love with the deeper philosophy and wisdom of yoga beyond the physical practice.

Rafaela has been teaching yoga since 2018, drawn to the practice by its ability to create balance and healing in people’s lives. After becoming a mother in 2024, she sought new ways to integrate wellness into her evolving lifestyle and enrolled in Fumiko Takatsu’s Face Yoga Method teacher training. The experience proved life-changing, not only transforming her physical appearance but also deepening her understanding of mindset and self-care. This journey immersed her in inner work and the fascinating science of neuroplasticity, expanding her ability to help others cultivate wellness from within.

Rafaela is certified to teach yoga and is a certified Face Yoga Method instructor through Fumiko Takatsu’s training program, which she completed in October 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and brings her culinary background and nutritional knowledge into her holistic approach to wellness. Rafaela’s motto is “less is better”—a philosophy that guides her teaching and encourages her students to find profound results through simple, consistent practices.
