After becoming obese as a new mother full of health issues, Tyeasha (Ty) felt like she was dying and merely surviving. Without a lifestyle overhaul, she knew she would have a limited role in her daughter’s life. This prompted her weight loss journey, and she became a Zumba® instructor in early 2011 and quickly developed a passion to help others start and succeed in their own journeys.
She thirsted for more knowledge of how to do so and became certified in group fitness, aquatics, and many other fitness platforms. In order to reach people more effectively, she became a certified holistic health and wellness coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2013.
Many fitness licenses and certifications and over 100 pounds lost later, Ty was selected as the first African-American master trainer (ICON) for POUND Fitness in 2016. After leaving the program in 2019 and growing as a pole fitness enthusiast and (later) instructor, Ty truly began to finally expand on an old desire to solve the disconnect she had seen with women, their views of sensuality and the lack of fitness programs catered to fostering a positive and wholesome view of femininity.
In 2019, Ty created and birthed the Muse Fitness Experience to answer that call and finally debuted with glowing reviews at the GAINS Fitness retreat in 2021. Ty has been inspiring and coaching women to find their highest level of self love & sensuality through the Muse Experience ever since.
Ty is a very proud Marine Corps Veteran and has a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University & an Associates in Marketing from Strayer University.
Outside of her love & passion for all things fitness and wellness, she is the award winning/nominated business owner of TyChi Productions – a multi-media production company that’s known to step in front of the camera as an actress & model from time to time. Most importantly she’s the proud Mom of a budding entertainer who’s affectionately known as “Mini T”.
