Kat Mathis is a wife, mother, lover of people, life-long learner, educator, and fitness instructor in Nashville, TN.
She began her fitness journey in 2014 as a participant at her local YMCA and fell in love with dance fitness classes. By 2016, she was teaching herself – something she NEVER envisioned herself doing! She has taught dance fitness, water aerobics, ballet sculpt, and strength training class and has held certifications in step aerobics and Silver Sneakers. Kat is passionate about making fitness fun and accessible for EVERYONE and creating an inclusive and encouraging sense of community in her classes.
Kat is also part of a group of female Nashville-based instructors called CalTwerk Dance Fitness that enjoys collaborating with one another to create a fun, energetic, calorie-burning workout. They have a YouTube Channel you can use to workout from home and they offer classes in-person locally.
