Ellen Radcliffe (MPH, BS Biology & Spanish) is a Zumba® Jammer, nutrition educator, personal trainer and group exercise instructor from Medford, Oregon. She has a deep love for health and wellness, adventure, and loves to laugh! Ellen began her fitness career in 2012 and has been continuing her education and teaching classes ever since. Ellen currently works for Oregon State University Extension Service in Jackson County as a bilingual nutrition educator, and as a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor for various gyms in the Rogue Valley, teaching a variety of classes including Aqua Zumba® and other Zumba® formats, STRONG Nation™, Better Bones & Balance®, and Pole Dance Fitness. She adores being able to learn and share knowledge with others, and she believes in making fitness fun for everyone! All participants she engages with, either in a group exercise class setting or one-on-one, she strives to help them feel inspired and empowered to break through barriers and accomplish their goals.
As a Zumba® Jammer for the Aqua Zumba® program, Ellen is a continuing education specialist and choreographer for the Aqua Zumba® program. She specializes in creating aquatic choreographies to support Aqua Zumba® instructors with their classes, as well as provide coaching techniques and tools to inspire instructors to continue providing classes in their communities. She strives to bring the joy of aquatic fitness to people of all ages and abilities. Her motto for her students is, “smile and shake something!” When Ellen is not teaching classes, she enjoys hiking, reading, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
