Gladesia Tolbert, House of Gladitude Yoga and Wellness Founder and Yoga Instructor

Gladesia Tolbert

With over 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, Gladesia has always been passionate about helping others achieve true wellness. She has seen firsthand that while many people strive to be healthy, they often lack the tools to create lasting balance in their lives. Through her work in pediatric healthcare and teen life coaching, she developed a deep empathy for parents struggling to pour from an empty cup. As a busy wife and mother of two, she understands the challenge of carving out time for self-care, often feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, and stressed.

Ten years ago, Gladesia stepped onto the mat at her first yoga class, and it became clear that yoga would be a core part of her life. Through yoga and meditation, she found a profound sense of peace and a renewed connection to God. With consistent practice, she grew stronger—physically, mentally, and spiritually. As she deepened her spiritual walk and embraced a greater sense of wellness, she realized her true purpose: to inspire and support others on their journey to wholeness.

Gladesia began her yoga teaching journey as a kid’s yoga instructor and is now a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). In 2024, she founded House of Gladitude Yoga and Wellness to create a welcoming, inclusive space where individuals from all walks of life can experience the transformative power of yoga and holistic wellness.

Today, Gladesia practices yoga to cultivate stillness, resilience, and inner peace. She teaches to help others connect with their own sources of strength and balance, guiding them toward the person they are meant to be. Her goal is to foster a supportive environment for every student, promoting mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. At House of Gladitude, students are equipped and empowered to live healthier, well-balanced lives.
