Teresa Coleman, EDM Body Fitness Content Choreo Creator and Instructor, Arizona

Teresa Coleman

Teresa Coleman is a mother of 3 (1 daughter and 2 sons) and is married to her high school sweetheart. She is originally from San Bernardino, CA but relocated to Arizona as a teen. She began her fitness journey about 4 years ago, really focusing on becoming more active and healthier. She is the Chief Administrative Officer of SouthWestCoast Product, LLC, a family-owned clothing line and future full-service screen-printing business. She is also a full-time caregiver for her special needs’ daughter.

After participating in various local community fitness events and classes, Teresa’s interest to become an instructor grew because she wanted to help others in their fitness journey. Teresa has always been a caregiver for those in need and has a passion for helping to uplift and encourage others. Fitness has given her another platform to do this. She is a go getter but loves to enjoy down time with her family and a margarita.

Teresa has been teaching for a little over 2 years and currently teaches at EõS Fitness, the city park, the city recreation center and virtually. Teresa is NAFC certified and has certifications in the following formats: EDM Body Fitness, Fire Up GX, and Total Body Tabata. Soon she will also be certified in Commit Dance Fitness. Teresa is also a content choreo creator for EDM Body Fitness and has had the opportunity to lead several community fitness events in Arizona.

FIRE UP GX provides a total body workout that is music driven, except for the cardio and mind/body connection. It is targeted to help you transform mentally, physically and spiritually, setting the participants’ souls on fire! EDM Body Fitness is the first dance party interval workout inspired by the amped-up beats, party vibe, sweat dripping fun of Electronic Dance & Club Music. This energetic full-body workout combines dance, cardio, conditioning & interval techniques. Both of these formats were created in Arizona.

Two fun facts about Teresa: She was on a dance/drill team from age 10-13 and she competed in her High School Mock Trial competition (her dream job was to be a Criminal Defense Attorney). Her motto is “Do You, Be You”, which essentially translates into be yourself for yourself and do what is best for YOU.
